Affiliate Disclosure
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This never costs you anything extra.
What affiliate links are
Some links on this site point to products on Amazon. If you click one and buy something, I earn a small commission from Amazon.
What it costs you
Nothing. Zero. The commission comes from the retailer, not from you. The price you pay is exactly the same.
What I recommend
Only things researched carefully from published specifications, makers’ manuals, verified buyer feedback and university extension sources. Nothing is tried at home, and every page that names products says so. Nothing is recommended because it pays a higher commission.
Why it matters
This small income covers the cost of running the site and keeping all the guides free for everyone.
Urban Hydro Space is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and in Amazon’s associate programs for Canada, the UK and Australia, affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com.au. If you visit from one of those countries, Amazon OneLink may take you to your own Amazon store. Amazon is the only affiliate program on this site.
I only link to hydroponic systems, grow lights, and nutrients that I genuinely believe will help you grow food in your apartment. My recommendations come from real research, not from commission rates.
Where you will see it. Every post with Amazon links has a short disclosure at the top, above the first link, and comparison tables are marked as paid links. Product suggestions in the calculators, the shopping list builder and the grow planner can be Amazon affiliate links too.
Researched, not tested. Every product on this site is chosen from published specifications, verified buyer feedback and independent sources, without being tried at home, and posts that name products carry that label. How products are researched and chosen.
My own book. Apartment Hydroponics for Beginners is my own book, sold on Amazon, so I benefit when it sells, including through links on this site.
Prices. Product prices and availability shown on this site come from Amazon, are accurate as of the date and time shown beside them, and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of the product.
